The WASRAG Professional Resources Team is a group of professionals - Rotarians and friends of Rotary - have specialized professionally in the many aspects of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services.  Now WASRAG members can access this talent pool to resolve issues in implementing sustainable safe water, sanitation and hygiene programs and projects.

Team members can:

  • Assist clubs and districts to prepare robust applications for Global Grants and other requests for funding.
  • Assist in the evaluation of optional solutions for WASH projects and programs.
  • Assist clubs and districts in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating projects and programs.
  • Conduct workshops to enable Rotary clubs and partners to plan effective and sustainable WASH projects and programs.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on any WASH issue.
  • Help formulate "lessons learned" on all aspects of WASH projects.
  • Advise clubs and districts on the implications of Sustainability so that Rotary projects do support the SDGs.
  • Provide an interactive forum to discuss and recommend appropriate processes.

Team members have experience in most aspects of WASH service, including:  program management, water resources, water supply, water quality, sanitation, hygiene, behaviour change, community empowerment, monitoring and evaluation, public health, funding operations and maintenance, WASH in schools, WASH in healthcare facilities and Menstrual Hygiene Managment (MHM).

Especially helpful is extensive experience in preparing submissions for Rotary Global and other grants.

Members of the team live in many countries.  They work in the developing world and are especially sensitive to local cultural issues.  And, among the team there is fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Russian.
